Board of Trustees

London and Slough Charitable Trust has a Board of Trustees who meet regularly to review financial matters as well as management of LASCT premises at Dukes House.

malcolm

Malcolm Johnstone - Chair

Malcolm works extensively and tirelessly with the Slough food distribution for LASCT.  He manages daily activity at Dukes House, including supplies of food and clothing for the homeless, re-distribution of furniture and he is also an active member of our fundraising and events team.  Malcolm is also Chairman of the Slough Homeless Forum and won the High Sheriff of Berkshire’s Volunteer of the Year in 2021.

Agnes Fairhead – Treasurer

Agnes is a qualified accountant who has worked in business for many years and is now retired.
Agnes joined the Board of Trustees as Treasurer approx 2 years ago and she is also actively involved in the fundraising/events team.
nuala=fox

Nuala Fox – Trustee/Secretary

Nuala has been involved with London & Slough Charitable Trust for approx 30 years, originally as Secretary and later as a Trustee. She volunteers as an evening packer at the food re-distribution centre at Dukes House, manages the website and social media pages as well as being an active member of the fundraising and event organising team.

Christina Brackenridge - Trustee

Christina joined the Board of Trustees in 2015, having been a volunteer with the London & Slough Run for several years. Christina was actively involved with the Slough Sunday Run, manages the phone enquiries and is also a member of the fundraising  and events organising team.

Jerry

Jerry O'Shea - Trustee

Jerry O’Shea, Project Manager, has been involved with LASCT as a volunteer for over 10 yrs, primarily distributing food in Slough and driving for the Winter Night Shelter. He is now picking up and packing food in the evening at Dukes House with a team from Ascot and is an active member of the Board.
Mike Kennedy-Diggs

Mike Kennedy-Diggins - Trustee

Mike has been in construction project management in the UK for over 30 years; and now teaches construction in a local college.   He has been a volunteer with LASCT for about 7 years and helps manage security and the vehicles.  He became a Trustee in March 2022.

Cecil 2

Cecil Boyd - Trustee

Cecil is the Pastor  of the Church Of God Of Prophecy Slough based in Britwell and runs a daily food share activity looking after vulnerable people in his parish, supported by LASCT.  Cecil is an active member of the Board of Trustees and a regular member of a packing team at Dukes House.

David Picton – Copy

David Picton - Trustee

David has been involved with LASCT as a volunteer for 18 months  and is primarily involved in collecting and re-packing food in the evening with a team from St Anthony’s and LASCT volunteers.  David is also Chairman of a local Library and the Finance Chairman of St Anthony’s church.  David  joined LASCT Board of Trustees in February 2024.
