The London and Slough Run has a board of Trustees who meet quarterly to review financial matters as well as looking at the overall management of the ‘Runs’.
John Goudie – Chair
John joined the charity in the mid-1990’s driving to Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. He is a member of the Slough Winter Night Shelter and Dukes House volunteer teams, and performs outreach to rough sleepers and those housed. He won the Slough CVS Volunteer of the Year Award in 2017, and received an Area Commander’s Commendation from Thames Valley Police in 2020.
Nuala Fox – Secretary
Nuala has been involved with the London & Slough Run for 25 years, originally as Secretary and later as a Trustee. She manages the website and social media pages as well as being an active member of the fundraising and event organising team.
Agnes Fairhead – Treasurer
Malcolm works extensively with the Slough food distribution at Dukes House. He manages our supplies of food and clothing for the homeless, and is an active member of our fundraising and events team. Malcolm is Chairman of the Slough Homeless Forum and won the High Sheriff of Berkshire’s Volunteer of the Year in 2021.
Christina joined the Board of Trustees in 2015, having been a volunteer with the London & Slough Run for several years. Christina is actively involved with the Slough Sunday Run and is also a member of the fundraising and events organising team.
Eugene, a resident of Gerrards Cross, has been a driver and runner on the GX Run for several years, and has been a Trustee since 2017. He also occasionally drives on the nightly collections for the Slough food distribution operation (Dukes House), and is also involved in fundraising and events organisation.
Julian has been a volunteer with the LASR for over a decade, driving for the London Run, the Slough Winter Night Shelter and now for the Dukes House food hub. He became a Trustee in March 2022
Ciarán has been a volunteer with the Winter Night Shelter and helps with food deliveries in Slough. He works globally in the field of International Development & Peace Keeping, is a local Councillor and a rugby referee and coach.
Mike was in construction project management in the UK for over 30 years; he now teaches construction in a local college. He has been a volunteer with the LASR for about six years, helping out where he can – especially when any heavy lifting is needed! He became a Trustee in March 2022.
